Walk a Trail
JTrails will be organising regular tours of Jewish heritage. Watch this space for details of up-coming tours. Walking the trails of Jewish history can be a great way to visit some of England's most famous tourist destinations. Special tours can also be organised for groups.
OXFORD JEWISH HERITAGE TOUR Discover the rich, and often surprising, Jewish heritage of Oxford, as seen on BBC South!
NEXT TOUR: Sunday, 4 November, 2007, 2.00pm, at the main entrance (Danby Gate), Oxford Botanic Gardens, opposite Magdalen College, Cost £3.00.
This tour (organised in conjunction with the Chabad House of Oxford) will last 1 hour 45 mins. (approx.) taking in many of the principal sites on the JTrails Oxford Heritage Trail and will be conducted by Oxford Jewish trail author Marcus Roberts.
The tour will be conducted at a relaxed pace over largely level terrain, which will suit most walking abilities. Refreshments will be available at the end at the Chabad Center, George Street (donation). For inquiries on disability access please contact JTrails head office.
